Leasehold Information Packs

When a leasehold property is in the process of being sold, the sellers solicitors will generally request specific information from the Freeholder or their managing agents, which is invariably passed on to the prospective purchasers solicitors. Typically this will relate to information like, whether the ground rent or service charge has been paid up to date or if the terms of the lease have been complied with etc.

Our legal department provide a leasehold information pack, which should have all of the information required. If additional information is requested, then further fees may apply. Contact us for the current fee for the information pack.

If you require the information pack to be responded to within 3 working days, then an expedition fee will be applicable in addition to the original fee quoted.

If a property is managed by a managing agent, then the purchaser's solicitors will need to contact the agent who will be required to respond to certain enquiries and may charge a further fee for providing specific information regarding the service charge.
